2월 26일, KCIS 세컨더리 스쿨에서는 학생들의 연구와 실험 결과를 발표하는 Science Fair가 진행되었습니다.

행사 당일에는 중등부와 고등부 학생들이 각 반에서 준비한 다양한 과학 프로젝트를 발표하며, 연구 과정과 실험 결과를 공유하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 학생들은 서로의 발표를 살펴보고 질문을 나누며 다양한 아이디어를 공유했고, 이러한 과정을 통해 과학적 사고를 확장하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

이번 Science Fair를 통해 학생들이 과학적 탐구 과정과 문제 해결의 과정을 직접 경험하고, 자신의 생각을 발표하며 한 단계 더 성장하는 시간이 되었기를 바랍니다.

앞으로도 KCIS는 학생들이 다양한 탐구 활동과 경험을 통해 배우고 성장할 수 있도록 의미 있는 교육 활동을 지속적으로 마련하겠습니다.

중등부 발표 주제

• 수경재배 식물 성장 관찰 및 데이터 기록

• 로켓 실험

• 자동 센서가 작동하는 쓰레기통 시스템 제작

• 콜라병을 활용한 진공 실험

고등부 발표 주제

• 설문을 통한 인간 심리 실험

• 미니어처 건물을 이용한 토네이도 실험

• 균류를 활용한 컴퓨팅 연구

• 플라즈마 건 실험

Hello from KCIS.

On February 26, KCIS Secondary School held a Science Fair, where students presented the results of their research and experiments.

During the event, middle and high school students shared a wide range of science projects prepared in their classes. Students introduced their research processes and experimental results, explored one another’s presentations, and engaged in Q&A sessions that encouraged meaningful discussion and deeper scientific thinking.

Through this Science Fair, we hope students were able to experience the process of scientific inquiry and problem solving firsthand, while gaining confidence in presenting their ideas and continuing to grow through these experiences.

KCIS will continue to provide meaningful educational opportunities so that students can learn and grow through various exploratory activities and hands-on learning experiences.

• Hydroponic plant growth observation and data recording

• Building an automatic trash can sensor system

• Vacuum experiment using a Coke bottle

• Human psychology experiment conducted through surveys

• Tornado experiment using miniature buildings
